The marketing world these days seems to be focusing heavily on technology driven sales and marketing strategies for good reasons, however there are many companies that are applying the some dumb or brute force attitudes to marketing who also found traditional methods tough going and will probably also find the same problem with the Internet.

I would never point the finger at a particular media being at fault but a lack of knowing what the real message is, who they are really communicating with and what the best way to reach these audiences are.
